Salon Policies & Booking Information

We’re so excited to welcome you! To ensure the best possible experience for all our clients,
please take a moment to review the following policies before booking your appointment.

Booking Tips

  • We take pride in the quality of our work — and as we all know; good hair can’t be rushed! Your time and your stylist’s time are equally valuable. A credit card is required to book any services.

  • To help keep you on track, we send confirmation texts at the time of booking, a week before, and again on the day of your appointment.

  • If you're cancelling outside of business hours, please leave a voicemail or send an email.

  • Our stylists work on a commission-based structure, meaning “time is money.” Every appointment helps support their craft, growth, and livelihood — thank you for respecting their time.

Cancellation Policy

We understand things come up, but last-minute cancellations or no-shows’ impact both our stylists and other clients.

  • You may cancel or reschedule up to 48 hours before your appointment with no fee.

  • Cancellations made within less than 48 hours will result in a 50% charge of the scheduled service.

  • Same-day cancellations or no-shows will be charged 100% of the scheduled service.

Late Policy

  • We allow a 10-minute grace period if you're running behind.

  • If you're more than 15 minutes late, part or all of your service may be forfeited.

  • Forfeited appointments will be charged 100% of the booked service.

    Extensions Policy

    • All extensions must be paid in full at the time of order.

    • Please note that extension purchases are non-refundable.

    RESCHEDULING ONLINE

    If you book online and then decide o change the date/time, please call the salon so we can change it for you - (617) 269-0638.
    If you make an alternate appointment online yourself, please be sure to call us to cancel the original appointment.


    PLEASE NOTE

    If your credit card on file doesn’t work once charged or if it is expired and cannot be charged,
    you will be notified and will need to pay for the missed appointment before returning to the salon.

Change of Heart Policy

We always want you to love your hair!

  • If you're unhappy with your service, please contact us within 7 days.

  • We’ll offer a complimentary redo service to make things right. We decide on a case by case basis who completes the re-do.

  • Please note: the original service fee is non-refundable.

Gratuities

  • Gratuities are not included in service prices.

  • We cannot accept tips via credit card.

  • Our stylists happily accept cash or Venmo for gratuities — thank you!

Age Requirements

  • We love kids, but for safety reasons (sharp tools and chemicals), all guests under 18 must be accompanied by a parent or guardian.

  • Service pricing is the same for children and adults.

PARKING

Street parking is available on L street as well as the adjoining streets.
Please be sure to read street sign warnings about street cleaning restrictions FROM APRIL 1-NOVEMBER 30.
Allow for ample time to park on Wednesdays
(FROM 1PM-5PM ON L STREET and 9AM-1PM ON E. 6TH STREET, alternating sides).
ALWAYS CHECK STREET SIGNS TO AVOID TICKETING.

CLOTHING

Nurture Salon and Spa is not responsible for damage to clothing or personal belongings caused during your service.
Stylists follow proper procedure during color services using neck towels and chemical capes as a precaution,
but as a last line of defense, please do not wear clothing you wish to protect when arriving for your service.
