Founded in 2002, Nurture began as one woman’s dream and has expanded into a hidden treasure in the heart of South Boston.
Nurture had its roots in a small two-chair operation, where the owner and founder doubled as the scheduler, shampoo girl, and cleaning staff. Eight years later, having expanded into seven chairs, offering basic spa treatments, Nuture has found its place in the community:
When I first looked for the spot to begin my business, I envisioned a large full-scale salon and spa. What I found was a small two-chair space that I knew could grow into something more. I knew I had to find a name that honored the space and the seed I was planting.
